Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue is committed to 'Helping His Helpless' through quality care and healing, adoptions, and population control awareness.
In order to be considered as an adopter, you must be 24 years of age or older, emancipated from your parents, and have a picture ID showing your present address. If renting or leasing your home or apartment you must have the prior consent of your landlord. The approval process begins with you completing the adoption application. If there is a required question that does not pertain to your application, please enter N/A or does not apply. If we have additional questions or need additional information we will contact you via e-mail or phone to request this information. We frequently require a home visit prior to final approval. Finally, we will contact you to let you know whether you have been approved or denied. Please be courteous to the volunteer that has the task of informing you of this decision. If you have comments, would like to make additional information available or request a second review, please do so by e-mailing us at info@proverbs1210rescue.org. If we feel the pet you applied for is not a good fit for your home, we may conditionally approve your application for another, and will gladly make recommendations of those we do feel would be a good fit.

We aim to reduce the number of healthy animals euthanized annually; we aim for more animals to be fixed than aren't fixed in our Middle Tennessee community; we aim for all neglected, abused, and abandoned companion animals to have a warm bed, a full bowl, and a helping hand at the end of every day.

The rescued dogs are fully vetted and spayed or neutered, then taken to a foster home where they are treated like family. Fostering allows our team time to get to know the dog’s personality and temperament so we can match the dog with the right family. We then get to know the potential adoptive family t
