Our mission is to rescue, educate, rehabilitate and love all animals that come to us in need here in Middle Tennessee. We will offer pet placement programs, as well as educate this generation and future generation about spay and neutering necessity, to offer wildlife rehabilitation and reintroduction, and to be a voice in animal cruelty legislation. Currently Noah’s Ark Society is raising capital funds and acquiring 500 acreage for the sanctuary.
Are you looking for a new cat, dog, horse, rabbit or other companion to add to your home? You have come to the right place, and we applaud you for choosing a rescued animal. Adopting with Noah’s Ark Society is easy! Simply start by taking about 30 minutes to completely fill out an online adoption application, and one of our adoption coordinators will contact you right away. We do a site visit and reference check for every adoption to assure that the animals in our care have a great life ahead of them. The site visit is an excellent time to ask any questions you have about rescue. We want happy matches for our adopters and rescues, so every adoption is a trial adoption. We are here for you, and your adopted pet for life, and will always take back an animal if the adoption is not a good fit. For questions regarding other types of animals, or for answers to questions not listed here, please simply ask. We often have animals in our rescue that are not listed online. Sometimes these animals are in medical rehab, need a little more R&R before they are ready for their new home, or our volunteers have just been busy and haven’t gotten the website updated. If you are looking for a specific type of pet not listed, please just let us know, so we can do our best to assist you.

We aim to reduce the number of healthy animals euthanized annually; we aim for more animals to be fixed than aren't fixed in our Middle Tennessee community; we aim for all neglected, abused, and abandoned companion animals to have a warm bed, a full bowl, and a helping hand at the end of every day.

Our mission is to save dogs from high-kill shelters where they would otherwise be euthanized. The rescued dogs are fully vetted and spayed or neutered, then taken to a foster home where they are treated like family. Fostering allows our team time to get to know the dog’s personality and temperament so we can match the dog with the right family. We then get to know the potential adoptive family t
