Loudon County Animal Shelter works to ensure the well-being of both people and animals residing in the county by providing compassionate care and adoption for abused, stray, unwanted and impounded animals, promoting responsible pet ownership and enforcing state animal regulations. In addition, the shelter educates the public on the importance of spay/neuter as a humane means of reducing the number of unwanted animals in Loudon County. We are a county run animal control facility and animal shelter. Please be responsible and spay/neuter your pets. If you cannot afford to have your pet spayed/neutered, and you live in Loudon County you can call the Humane Society at 671-8654 for assistance. If you have seen an animal on this site you are interested in adopting please stop by the shelter to begin the adoption process. At this time cash is the only form of payment accepted.

ADOPTING A FRIEND...... DOGS/PUPPIES (either sex) $80.00 Includes: Spay or Neuter Rabies Vaccination DHPP and Bordatella Vaccination (additional boosters not included) General Deworming, and Microchip *For dogs over 6 months of age a Heartworm test is recommended. For an additional $6.00 the test can be performed..
