Tiny Miracles Rescue - Chalfont Pet Shelter

Tiny Miracles Rescue is a non profit 501c3 organization dedicated to solving the problem of pet over-population. At the farm, we provide a safe refuge for animals in need. Our adoptable pets have been abandoned and/or are saved from “high-kill” shelters where their odds of ending up in a loving home are poor. Once here, they will receive love, attention, a health evaluation, and help to find their perfect forever family. All of our adoptable pets are altered, vaccinated, and given heartworm and flea preventatives. Their temperament are carefully screened so that we can place them in the correct adoptive homes. We also serve as a resource to our community by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of altering your pet, positive behavior training, and pet nutrition. Be sure to check both our website often to see our available animals.

Adoption Process

1. Apply: Complete the online adoption application. 2. Phone Interview: We will call you to discuss your application and gather some additional information. 3. We will call the Personal and Veterinary references you listed on the application and contact you to schedule a home visit. Note: If you do not have a current / past pet - that is OK. 4. Home Visit - All residents must be present. During a home visit, we will assess the living situation as well as the dog’s behavior, including around children or other pets. If we feel that your home is the best fit for the dog, we may leave him/her there with you assuming you are prepared to receive your new dog. You will be asked to sign our Adoption Contract and the applicable adoption fee must be paid to Tiny Miracles Rescue, which is necessary to cover the cost of spaying/neutering, medicating, and transporting our dogs. Please understand that is our responsibility to find the best match possible for each animal in our care. If your application is approved, but another applicant is a better match for the same animal, we will keep your application on file, and you will not have to repeat steps 1 - 3 of the adoption process for future prospects.
