Adoption Process

Dogs: 1. Fill out our application online or download and email the completed application to [email protected]. 2. Keep an eye on our website! Dogs are posted online as soon as they’re available. Once we have your application, just let us know who you’re interested in meeting. If you’re not sure which dog you’re interested in, just put ‘general’ instead of a name. Dog Viewing and Adoptions are by Appointment. 3. Come into to Pixie for a meet and greet! We’ll schedule a time for you to come in, meet the dog that you’re interested in, and sit down to talk with a staff member. (If you’re interested in a dog that is living in a foster home, we’ll put you in touch with the foster family to schedule a good time to meet.) 4. Dogs: Bring your new canine friend home for a trial adoption. Two weeks later you return to Pixie to complete your adoption. Cats: 1. Fill out our application online or download and email the completed application to [email protected]. 2. We’ll schedule a time for you to meet cats or kittens! (If you’re interested in a cat that is living in a foster home, we’ll put you in touch with the foster family to schedule a good time to meet.) 3. Bring your new feline friend home!
