Animal rescue can take many forms. Whether an individual is trying to make a difference by saving one dog, to a group of people working together for the common goal of saving many animals. SHHR is not a shelter or humane society, We are a Small Rescue. We rely mostly on fosters for the dogs...We foster our dogs from our home or approved Foster Homes. We are always growing, and in need of foster homes ! We are self-supporting, relying on fund raising and donations to support all rescue efforts, including normal and extraordinary medical veterinary care. Before re homing, all our dogs are Spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, Microchipped, and fully health checked. We Take particular care in placing our animals, pure and mixed breed alike. Our screening process includes an application and a visit to the potential owner’s home to ensure the home and family is compatible with the pet’s needs and our requirements.
