Richard A. Stein Animal Shelter - Canton Pet Shelter

The Animal Control Department encourages visitors to our shelter. We can answer questions regarding animal regulations, care, behavior, adoption and conflicts with wildlife. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, however, this does not mean the Officer is always physically at the shelter during those hours. The officer may be out on a call or transporting an animal to/from the vet. If you’re interested in coming in to see our adoptable animals or to speak to the Animal Control Officer it is best to call first. Weekend and holiday visits are only available by appointment.
