PET MATCH RESCUE, INC. is a non-profit 501(c) (3) volunteer rescue organization committed to saving and protecting the lives of at-risk of euthanasia, stray, and abandoned dogs and puppies. With compassionate care and technical ability, we rehabilitate these deserving rescues by providing proper shelter, diets, training, grooming, socialization, spay/neutering and medical treatment. Our goal is to provide rescues with what they need to get what they deserve…adoption into permanent suitable loving homes. Based in Newport Beach, we serve Orange County and nearby surrounding counties.
1. Meet at Adoption Event. You can meet our available dogs and puppies on SUNDAY at our weekly adoption events. If you are interested in a dog or puppy, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND BRINGING EVERYONE in your household including spouse, children, current dog(s), and any relatives that may live with you. This is important to determine compatibility. 2. Submit Application. Submit your application at the event if you are interested in adopting a rescued dog or puppy. 3. Selection/Home Check/Contract & Payment. Home checks are conducted. Home checks are made to ensure the safety and security of the home, as well as go over details about the rescued animal and their records with you and answer any questions you might have. Upon an approved home check, an adoption contract is signed, donation collected….and you can begin enjoying your new pet! IF SELECTED AS A MATCH WE WILL CALL YOU. Please Note: We do NOT call all applicants – we ONLY call those selected as a match. WE ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FROM 11 – 4 PM on SUNDAY. All applications are reviewed after the event is over. Our goal is to place each animal in the home best suited for the animal’s individual temperament and needs. If you are not selected, it does not mean your application was denied - it simply means your home was not the right or best fit for the animal that you applied for.

In January 2010, we agreed to foster a very sweet Lab mix, Evie, with her 6, 5 week old puppies, Cherry, Chelsea, Chet, Chewy, Charlie and Chunk. But not before fueling the fire in us to do whatever we coul
