Paws Crossed Small Dog Rescue is an all volunteer organization whose purpose is to save abandoned, neglected, and/or abused animals by placing them into permanent, safe, stable, and caring new homes. We offer in home foster care for all our animals. This helps us to address any socialization and training issues to better prepare them for successful adoption so that they won’t be abandoned or neglected again or end up in a high kill shelter. We specialize in all small breed dogs, mixes included. Chihuahuas seem to be our most popular breed due to the abundance in the Bay Area. Because of this, PCSDR has established out of state relationships with reputable dog rescue groups and we safely fly dogs in order to find wonderful loving forever homes for each of our homeless dogs. We have numerous transports annually, usually of 10 or more dogs each flight.
