Half-way Home Animal Rescue - Orland Park Pet Shelter

FROM OUR HOMES TO YOURS.....Half-Way Home Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 recognized, foster-based (non-government funded) organization that is made up of all volunteers and along with the support and donations from individuals, veterinarians, and others - we strive for the rescue, humane care, and treatment of the animals in our community, state and throughout our country. Together we are saving hundreds of animal lives annually. Being a foster-based/run animal rescue group means finding selfless people who are willing to take in and offer a home to the animals who are in need - until a permanent family is found to adopt them. Our Mission is to ensure that every animal is treated with the respect that they deserve; to educate our communities on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets; in order to solve the pet overpopulation problem; the humane treatment and care of all animals, and to help the many animals that are being put to death in our communities every day, due to no fault of their own. We are so very appreciative of any and all support that we receive. We thank you for visiting our site and if nothing, we hope that we have offered you a better insight on animals and the love that they all have to offer! As always - From Our Home to yours...Our Animals are HALF-WAY HOME to a Better Life. Our organization wants what is in the best interest of the animal and we will select the adopters based on this criteria. Every pet is special and for that, every pet deserves a special home that can meet their needs. Please know that all people involved with Half-Way Home Animal Rescue work full time and are volunteering their time for this organization. We make every attempt to contact applicants in a timely manner.
