The Animal Control Officers are responsible for the enforcement of the Connecticut State Laws and Enfield Town Ordinances pertaining to domestic and wild animals. We respond to complaints of violations of animal control laws by telephone or police dispatch. All animals that are taken into custody are impounded at the Enfield Animal Shelter on Parsons Road. Impounded animals are cared for at the shelter by the officers and treated by licensed veterinarians when needed.
