Adoption Process

The first step of our process is to fill out the application to initiate the approval process. We will do some checking, vet references etc. We will either do a home visit, use google, town websites or ask for some pictures. If the potential adopter lives in an apartment or in someone else's home we would need to speak to the landlord or the homeowner. If we feel that this would be a potential good fit we will have a phone conversation. If both parties feel comfortable moving forward after the phone conversation we will set up a meet and greet. Again the meet and greet will help both parties determine if this is a good fit. We process the applications in the order received. If we have multiple we will take the first good fit and follow the process thorough the meet and greet. We do not set up multiple meet and greets with adopters - we do not feel it is fair to the adopters to come meet the pup and not know whether or not they will be taking them home due to other applicants.
