Wonder Weims Rescue is a non-profit 501C, non-kill animal rescue group dedicated to rescuing Weimaraners in Missouri, Nebraska and surrounding areas. We help to heal their emotional and physical wounds, educate the public on the breed, temperament, training, exercise and leadership. We advise the public on spaying and neutering, (a Wonder Weim requirement) the horrors of puppy mill’s and encourage adoption from rescues and responsible, reputable breeders. We work with other humane organizations to locate lost pets and rescue abandoned and abused animals. The ultimate goal of our organization is to give animals the respect, care and proper medical attention they deserve and give them an opportunity to be loved and be a part of a forever home.
ALL application information is kept private and will not be disseminated. To apply to adopt please fill out WWR application. Once our adoption coordinator receives your application they will contact you and go through approval process. Please allow 48 hours from the time of submission. Adoption requirements: your current pets must be up to date on vaccinations and heartworm preventative. Out of state adoptions are allowed, however adopter has to provide transport. If adoption is not successful the dog must be returned to the place of adoption. WWR reserves the right to deny any home a rescue dog. Adopters are required to sign an adoption contract. Payment accepted: cashier’s checks, money orders, Paypal or cash. Payments are to be made to Wonder Weims Rescue.
