We are a very small dog only shelter in rural middle TN. We currently do not accept owner surrenders, only take in stray dogs and try to reunite them with their family. On the occasions that their family can’t be found, or if the family is not interested in claiming their pet, we do all we can to find adoptive homes for them or place them with approved rescues. Aside from running a local shelter, we try very hard to reach out to our community and help put low income families in touch with low cost vaccination and spay / neuter clinics to help improve the life of their four legged family members. As with all rural shelters in economically depressed areas, our adoption numbers aren’t very high so we strive to work with as many rescues as we can and we are always looking for more wonderful volunteers to help out the fur kids!
