Underdog! Rescue was founded in March 2010 by the former director of the Flathead County Animal Shelter in Kalispell, MT. Inheriting a high-kill municipal shelter with a reputation for being the last stop for the valley's unwanted pets, a small group of volunteers and employees turned it into a safe haven full of love and second chances virtually overnight. Underdog! was founded to continue working towards a No-Kill Montana, a goal that might have seemed unattainable just a few years ago. We invite you to help us make Montana the Last Best Place to be a Homeless Pet.
