Treasure Fur-Ever Animal Rescue (TFAR) is a 501(c)(3) 100% foster-based non-profit organization based in northern NJ. We are a group of very dedicated volunteers that are trying to help find loving, forever homes for all puppies/dogs and kittens/cats in need.
You would apply to adopt a rescue animal by submitting an adoption application online. Once submitted, we will review your application to see if you are a good fit for that particular animal. If you are, we will then email you to confirm if you would like to move forward with the adoption process. Once confirmed, we will ask you to contact your vet, personal references, and if you rent a home, your landlord so that we can speak to them. If all references check out, you will be sent a confirmation email explaining what the next steps will be, along with an adoption contract.
