Suzie's Cat Refuge is a safe haven for cats without homes. I'm Rachel Pouliot and Suzie was my beautiful and much-loved Siamese cat who died from natural causes at the age of 18. To honor her memory, I decided to start Suzie's Cat Refuge, a safe place for cats in need of good homes. Working mostly on my own (although I'm open to working with rescue groups as well) I provide homeless cats a clean, safe, and loving place to hunker down until adopted into permanent homes. No big woop, really. I'm not a registered 501c3 charity, or any officially recognized "thing". Depending on how things go, I may prefer to keep it that way. For now, I'm content to just take in homeless cats when I have a space available and my budget allows
If you are interested in adopting a cat from Suzie’s Cat Refuge, please read the parenting guide for the cat that you’re interested in. Then, you may fill out and submit an adoption-application. Parenting guides are updated periodically to reflect any new developments in the cat’s behavior, personality and health status, so please check back frequently. Also, here is a copy of our Adoption Contract, so that you can see what we require.
