Southern Cross Boston Terrier Rescue’s mission is to rescue abused, abandoned, homeless, unwanted, sick, or injured Boston Terriers, rehabilitate them and place them into loving, permanent, adoptive homes. We strive to educate the public about the Boston Terrier dog breed including its personality, special needs, and care. We provide needed medical care and spay or neuter operations for all of the dogs that come into our rescue. As a nationally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization, SCBTR is one of the largest Boston Terrier rescues in the United States. We support foster, volunteer, and adoption operations in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida Panhandle, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. (other states are considered on a case-by-case basis)
Due to the extensive time commitment to process an application, each adoption application requires a $10 non-refundable application processing fee. (fee does not apply for foster home applications)
