We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all volunteer organization. RescuesForJoJo (RFJ) was founded to help rescue shelter dogs in need. Our group focuses more on the "undesirables" in the shelter; medically fragile, injured, abused, and breed or color specific dogs who would, otherwise, be looked over and euthanized through no fault of their own. RFJ receives dogs from high kill shelters. We depend solely upon the help of pre-approved fosters. Before our dogs are approved for placement, they are fostered and vetted. Vetting includes appropriate vaccinations, testing for heartform, spaying or neutering and, sometimes, other surgery. When the dog is ready for placement, applications are reviewed to find the best home for the dog. Transport to the new home can be arranged. RFJ is always in need of volunteers and foster homes. We welcome the assistance of anyone interested in making a difference in the life of a dog. The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel. Proverbs 12:10
