Founded in 2006, Res-Q-Pets is non-profit small breed dog and cat rescue located in Hamilton Township, NJ. We are comprised entirely of volunteers dedicated to saving the lives of these homeless companion animals and giving each one the forever loving home they deserve. The animals in our care come to us by way of local shelters, puppy mills, and breeders. Our local shelters are teeming with small dogs (and cats) who come in off the streets, as well as those that have been surrendered by owners when they can no longer keep them. Some come into our care from puppy and kitten mills when they have been deemed no longer productive, or not “breed standard”, and would otherwise be left to die or euthanized. Res-Q-Pets is dedicated to finding loving forever homes for small dogs and cats through our foster and adoption programs, as well as providing support to our adopters and their new four-legged family member.
Our adoption process includes: Adoption fee which helps offset costs associated with spay/neuter surgery and vaccinations; Veterinary reference(s), if applicable; Personal reference(s); Home visit; Meet and greet with current pet(s), if applicable.
