Adoption Process

REGAP of CT Inc. is the pioneer greyhound placement group having placed greyhounds for over four decades, our goal is to find the dog that’s right for you. Once you have determined we are the group you’d like to work with, please do not complete or pursue other adoption groups. The adoption fee of $350.00 (tax deductible) partially reimburses the veterinary expenses incurred in treating the greyhounds. The veterinary care at a minimum includes: spay/neuter, dental cleaning and 4DX snap test (heartworm, lyme, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis). Please note if veterinary treatment occurs in Connecticut the adoption fee maybe higher. We also provide a matching collar and leash. Following your adoption we are available to answer questions and provide support for the lifetime of your greyhound.
