We are a non-profit organization and are registered with the State of Florida as a DBA under the umbrella of Suntree Viera Pet Rescue Humane Society, Inc. which is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Our group consists solely of volunteers who share the passion for helping homeless animals to find loving homes. We rescue primarily kittens from our local shelter that would otherwise be euthanized and homeless kittens on the street. We keep our animals in our homes since we do not have a shelter facility and they are not kept in cages. We get to know our fosters so that we are better able to match them with the right family based on their personality. We operate on a first come, first serve basis for those homes we feel are a good match for our fosters.
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out our adoption application form. Please e-mail Purrfect Friends at [email protected] and ask for an application form and also say which kitty or kitties you are interested in. We will review your application to see if you are a good match for our foster (s). If we feel it is a good match, we will contact you and arrange for you to meet the foster you are interested. Our adoption fee is $85 per cat/kitten and includes spay/neuter, combo test for FIV/FeLV, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming and treatment with Activyl for flea control. The adoption fee for two is $150.
