Pet Adoption Network (P.A.N.) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded in 1993 and is based in Red Bank, NJ. Over the years, we have rescued and re-homed thousands of animals thanks to our network of loving foster homes, dedicated volunteers, and the Adoption Center at the Holmdel Petsmart.
Yes, we do same day adoptions on Saturdays if you qualify. We work hard to make our adoption process a positive experience with minimal waiting. However, these are innocent animals that are under our protection, and we have to take certain steps to insure we are selecting responsible homes. Approval for adoption requires either a current vet reference, or a brief visit to your home. If we can reach your vet or schedule a home visit, many applicants are able to bring home their new pets the same day they apply. You may also get pre-approved to adopt a pet by submitting an application during the week. This cuts down on the paperwork and waiting time you will experience when you come in to adopt. Submitting the application ahead of time also helps us to determine if the animal might be a good match for you and we appreciate your patience.
