PAD PAWS Animal Rescue is a non-profit 501c3 organization specializing in abandoned and injured cats along the Hudson River (between Battery Park/NYC and Jersey City, NJ). The majority of our rescues include rehabilitation through foster care until a permanent home is found. We are not a TNR rescue group and do not take in surrendered pets. Our main focus is to rescue cats in immediate danger (due to construction sites, urban development, and busy city streets), and move them to safety through adoption. PAD PAWS handles all medical costs, adoption, education, rehabilitation, as well as assisting with other local community organizations in rescuing cats.
