The mission of One Love Animal Rescue Group is to rescue homeless animals, nurture them through foster care, and place them in permanent loving homes. We are passionate animal advocates who value the lives of these disadvantaged animals and recognize their enormous potential to be transformed into healthy and happy family pets. One Love promotes responsible pet ownership and encourages others in our community to be kind to all animals, to reduce pet overpopulation, and to join us in our mission to improve the outcomes of homeless animals. Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and medical conditions are pulled from shelters both locally and outside of the state of New Jersey, where chances of adoption are often low. One Love also accepts pets that are local owner surrenders. One Love Animal Rescue Group, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization.
One Love Animal Rescue Group, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of a network of foster homes and dedicated volunteers. All of our adoptable pets live in a loving home environment and will be brought up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption. Any additional medical concerns will also be addressed prior to adoption. We encourage potential adopters to browse our adoptable pets on our website and attend adoption events to meet the animals in person. If a particular pet catches your eye, we recommend not wasting any time prior to submitting an application. If you’re unsure which adoptable pets might be a good fit for your family, fill out an application, select animal name “TBD”, and be sure to include detailed information about your living situation, activity level, and any animal preferences you might have (e.g., age, max weight, activity level, etc.), so that a volunteer can review your application and make appropriate recommendations. Our adoption process begins when you submit an application and includes a phone interview, a veterinary reference check, two personal reference checks, a landlord check (if applicable), a home visit, and a meet with your pets (if applicable). Once these steps have been completed and your application is approved, it will remain on file with the rescue until you adopt a pet or cancel the application.
