The Montville Township Animal Shelter has a wide variety of dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens that are all patiently awaiting a happy and loving home. Please come meet them!
Montville Animal Shelter has updated procedures for the adoption/foster programs. Members of the public will be allowed to enter the shelter in person to view animals that are available for adoption. Due to the limited open space available inside the Animal Shelter, adoptions will be conducted by appointment, with an approved adoption application. Please fill out an adoption application, then email the completed application to Animal Control Officer Gail Strumph at [email protected]. The Animal Control Officer will review your application, and if it is approved, a Montville Animal Shelter representative will contact you by phone to discuss our available pets, and which one would be the best match for you. Considerations include, but are not limited to: disposition and needs of the animal, whether or not there are any other companion animals in the home, number/ages of other family members, and living arrangements. A Shelter representative will then set up an appointment date and time for you to come in and meet the pets.
