Memphis Rottweiler Rescue [MRR] rescues and rehabilitates abandoned, abused, and neglected Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, and other bully breeds. We strive to prevent animal cruelty and improve the welfare of all animals through community outreach and education.
Adoption Application: We require all potential adopters to submit an adoption questionnaire first. Reference Checks: We require a vet reference and two personal references. We will contact your veterinarian to make sure that the other animals in the household are up to date on routine medical care. This is done to protect both existing pets and any potential MRR dog that may be joining your family. Home Visit: The final step in the adoption process is the home visit, where we bring the dog to your home. We want to make sure our dogs are going into a home environment that is safe and secure for them. During this time we can also help you to properly introduce the dog to your current pets.
