Mary's Kitty Korner - Pleasant Valley Pet Shelter

The mission of Mary’s Kitty Korner is to provide a safe refuge for stray, abused, neglected and owner-surrendered cats & kittens. We also educate the community on the importance of spaying and neutering. In addition, our organization works to aid in finding these cats carefully screened permanent, safe & loving homes where they will live as family members. We promote the involvement of cat owners in the welfare of their animals’ care. This is a very important part of our organization.

Adoption Process

Please fill out Adoption Application completely and then e-mail, fax or mail it to Mary's Kitty Korner. If you have any questions please feel free to call and one of our volunteers will get back to you within 24 hours. Once your application is complete and approved a volunteer will contact you to set up an appointment to pick up your new family member... Once you fill out the adoption contract and are ready to take your new cat or kitten home, all health records will be given to you for your records. Each home should be able to provide good veterinary care when needed. An adoption fee is also required at this time. There will be follow-ups with one of our volunteers so that the transition from Mary's Kitty Korner to your home will be a smooth one. We encourage you to call us or email with any questions at any time. No question is unimportant! We want to help make the transition of your new feline friend a happy one for all involved. If you can not keep a cat/kitten that has been adopted from us, MKK will help rehome the cat to a suitable caregiver. (We do ask that you give us up to two weeks to so that we are able to find a suitable home or make room for the cat at our adoption center or in a foster home.)
