Lifeline Animal Project - Atlanta Pet Shelter

Lifeline Animal Project

The LifeLine Community Animal Center features a full-service, low-cost veterinary clinic that is open to the public, and an adoption center that enables LifeLine to take in more animals from our DeKalb and Fulton County Animal Services shelters. The goal of the Community Animal Center is to keep animals from being surrendered to shelters by providing affordable wellness care up front while helping every adoptable animal in LifeLine's shelters find a home. The new clinic provides a wide-array of veterinary services, including preventive care, general surgery, spay and neuter services, dental services, x-rays and labs, all at affordable rates, while the new adoption center allows us to facilitate up to 2,000 adoptions annually. LifeLine currently cares for over 40,000 animals a year at our clinics, shelters and in the community.
