Adoption Process

As our main focus for our organization is assisting the community in Lapeer County with homeless animals. Lapeer's Adoptable Animals, Inc. will take in the animals that have "special needs" that are hard to place and are not adopted from our local animal shelter. We have saved several animals that have had severe health issues and are now in happy loving homes! Once we provide the animals with the care they need and deserve, we do require an application be filled out and a home visit will be performed! Our adoption fees for dogs are $175 and $75 for cats! All animals are fully vetted including spay and neuter if they are of age. If under 4 months of age, a spay/neuter contract will be implemented and either the adopter will choose to get a $50 refund or they will receive a free spay/neuter voucher from All About Animals which is low cost spay/neuter clinic located in Warren, Michigan.
