Heaven Sent Animal Rescue NJ (HSARNJ) was founded July 4, 2018 and is based down the Jersey Shore. We are a group of hard working, dedicated volunteers that are against shelters using euthanasia to solve overpopulation issues within shelters. Our volunteer fosters provide their homes until we are able to find a perfect forever home for each animal based on their needs. Our rescue is first come first serve, we can't hold our pets.
STEP 1: PICK PET AND APPLY ONLINE. First, find and choose the pet you think would best fit in your home. However, it's advised to choose three other options as well, just in case your first choice already has an adopter lined up to meet with the pet prior to you applying. Once screened and approved, we will contact you and inform you about proceeding to STEP 2 or not. STEP 2: ESTABLISH A FOREVER HOME. When your application is approved we will set up a date/time with you to pick up your new family member. All members of your household - along with current dogs - need to meet your potential pet before the adoption can be completed. Considering all goes well, and everybody likes the dog and vice versa, the last step is signing the adoption contract, paying the adoption fee and welcoming your newly adopted pet to their forever home. Your new pet needs to be brought to the veterinarian with a stool sample within a week of the adoption.
