Georgia Humane Society - Douglasville Pet Shelter

The Georgia Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization that acquires cats from Georgia's "high risk" shelters and places them up for adoption through our safe sheltering and foster home program. Our priority is to focus on Georgia's homeless cats and we do not transfer cats into our program from other states. Our adoption fee includes disease testing, vaccinations, internal and external parasite treatment and spay/neuter surgery. All pets are completely vetted prior to being placed up for adoption. The Georgia Humane Society is also a registered corporation with the Georgia Secretary of State's office and we are licensed with the Georgia Department of Agriculture's Compaion Animal Protection Division.
