The Douglas County Animal Shelter has many cats and dogs for adoption.
The base adoption fee for all dogs and cats is $35.00. An additional fee for vetting includes: sterilization surgery, the rabies vaccine and a lifetime registration microchip. Any additional testing or vaccination records will be provided upon adoption. Fees will vary according to pet selected and will be posted for each animal. The rabies vaccine, by law, must be updated according to manufacturer’s specification with your vet. We accept check, cash or card.
