Furry Friends Network (FFN) was founded in 2001 and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted dogs and cats by providing necessary medical treatment, spay/neuter surgeries, and foster and adoption services. FFN has facilitated the rescue and placement of thousands of homeless dogs and cats, all while relying on private and corporate donations to help fund rescue operations. FFN utilizes a network of foster homes providing lifesaving care to abandoned, unwanted animals until forever homes are found, offering second chances for animals that otherwise might not have had much hope. FFN gets their animals from various sources, including kill shelters, strays and owner surrenders. At times FFN provides help to shelters out-of-state, where there are extremely large overpopulation problems. Giving dogs and cats a second chance is what drives decisions and motivates FFN to work harder each day on behalf of the voiceless. There are several adoption events for potential pet owners, and volunteer opportunities. Thank you for caring about our furry friends. It does take a village!
1. Complete our adoption application. Our volunteers then review the application and contact you. 2. The application process consists of contacting your personal and veterinarian references, contacting your landlord (as applicable), a personal interview and a home visit. The process will take approximately 2 weeks. 3. If your application is approved, a meet-n-greet with the animal and his/her foster family will be set up. 4. Finally, if it is a good match for both the animal and the applicant, a contract is signed and the animal officially has a new home. If you have any questions or have trouble with the online application, please email us at generalinfo@FurryFriendsNetwork.com.
