Sochi Dogs is an international organization rescuing stray and abandoned dogs. At our shelter that is home to 50-60 dogs at any given time, we are committed to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding families for homeless dogs. Sochi Dogs works tirelessly to prevent dogs from ending up on the street by educating communities and offering low-cost spay/neuter initiatives.
1. Check out our available dogs and submit an adoption application. We can help you decide the best dog for you if you’re not sure who you want. If you have applied for a particular dog and we think we have a better match for you we will suggest them to you. 2. If your application is a match for one of our available dogs, we’ll contact you within 72 hours to schedule a phone call. We do everything we can to ensure a successful placement. This means we want to learn about your home, lifestyle, and what you are looking for in a canine companion. Our matching process is one of the factors responsible for our high rate of successful adoptions. 3. Once we’re positive we have the perfect dog for you, the anticipation to meet your new best friend begins! You’ll need to put down a deposit, 10% of the adoption fee and we’ll get started on making travel arrangements and coordinating times for you to meet your new family member. Dogs usually arrive within 2-3 weeks after the deposit is paid. You will need to pay the rest of the adoption fee when you pick up the dog. Your trial adoption period is one week from the date of pick-up, but we can be flexible if needed.
