FOCAS is a nonprofit animal welfare organization that provides protection and finds loving homes for animals in need. Since 1984, we have been providing a range of services and programs to help abandoned, homeless, and injured animals at the Bergen County Animal Shelter and in the community. In 2015 alone, we rescued approximately 300 cats and dogs, and placed them in adoptive homes. All these animals receive in-home foster care until they found their forever families.
