Our Mission: To educate the public on the necessity of spaying and neutering, which will drastically reduce the number of free-roaming cats. To help reduce the vast number of cats that are taken to shelters and killed every day because of lack of space. To promote compassion and empathy toward cats and all animals. FURR is a registered 501c3.
Most of our cats and kittens are fostered in homes, which means that we can help make sure that you are adopting the perfect companion who will fit easily into your home and family. We frequently have people who say that they will only ever adopt from us because of the love and care that we give to each and every kitty that we care for. The adoption fee for all cats and kittens is $120. This includes Microchip, FIV/FeLV testing, all age appropriate shots, spay/neuter and deworming. All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, have seen a vet, and are healthy, to the best of our knowledge, when adopted. Frequently, our kitties come into rescue requiring more than basic veterinary care. Because veterinary care for a healthy cat exceeds $120, we rely on donations to help keep our adoption fees low. If you are interested in one of our cats, you can fill out an on-line application. The questionnaire gives us the information necessary to help you find the right match for your home. Most of our cats go to adoption events frequently but since we have two adoption events every Saturday, you should contact the us to determine where the cat or kitten will be displayed. Frequently, our fosters will allow potential adopters to meet the kitties in the foster family's home as opposed to at an adoption event.
