Located in Youngstown, Ohio, Every Dog Matters is a small group of passionate people. Our values drive our goal to help the underdogs, the dogs that are overlooked, the ones that need extra time and training, the ones that need to learn to trust again. We vow to help any dog that we are able to, but our focus is on the ones that need the extra time to become adoptable. We do this by creating better lives for them through rescue, foster, training, and adoption. We strongly believe that all dogs deserve to be loved. Every dog deserves a chance. Every dog deserves to be loved. Every dog deserves a warm bed and to always have food and water. Every Dog Matters.
1. Fill out our adoption application. We do need the application to be complete. So please make sure you list your vet, your landlord, and all info on any animals that already live with you; if those things are applicable. 2. Once you have submitted your app, we will contact your vet and landlord. Please let your vet know we will be calling. 3. We will then contact you to do a home visit. We just want to make sure the pup will have a safe environment to live in. Please don’t be offended by this - we just want to make sure our dogs will be safe. 4. If you have dogs in your home already, we will require a meet and greet so we know the dogs will get along. Depending on the dogs, this may consist of a couple different steps. 5. Once everything has been completed, we make arrangements to bring the dog to you. 6. Most dogs are already up to date on shots, spayed or neutered, and microchipped by this time. If not, an appointment will be made to have it done before the adoption is finalized. There are no exceptions to this.
