Adoption Process

The animals that are seized for humane reasons need a place to stay and someone to help them find a safe forever home. Our Shelter provides that while looking for the perfect home for them. Our Standard adoption fee is $140.00 for all adult dogs, $50 for cats. Puppies under 6 months old are $200.00. All pets are fully vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered before the adoption is finalized. If you are a senior citizen please discuss the senior to senior program with your adoption coordinator. For Senior citizens looking to add a furry friend to their home we have an excellent program. Any senior over the age of 60 can adopt any senior dog for $60 and any senior cat for $30. In addition to that, the annual vaccines for these pets are provided at no cost to the adopter (office visit fee will be adopters responsibility). Email acoadoption@gmail.com for more information. Meet and greets are available by appointment only for dogs and cats. Adoptable dogs are located at 525 W Main Street in Canfield, OH. Our adoptable cats are available at 4140 Market Street in Boardman.
