We are a small, independent chow-chow and peke rescue located in Davenport, Iowa. We are primarily asked to take homeless animals from shelters in the midwest and prepare them for adoption into loving permanent homes. All of our adoptees are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, heartworm checked if old enough and groomed. Regretfully we are no longer able to take in owner surrenders that are not spayed or nuetered or up to date on shots. To come to the rescue they must have these things done for them by the owner.
Our adoption process includes an application which can be recieved via email, filled out and returned by email. A reference check, home visit and an adoption contract completes the process. Our adoption fees are reflective of the expence in that current animal.. All being fully vetted, groomed and ready to go! We do not "hold dogs", and our placement of dogs is based on whats best for the dog. We could always use foster homes as well as donations. Our wish list is good dog food, paper towels and some canned dog food for treats. Donations go towards shots and vet bills. Please open your heart and give. Thank you for looking in on us!
