East Alabama Humane Society, Inc. is a non-profit animal rescue society that has as its mission to promote and enable saving the lives of as many unwanted pets as possible. EAHS is the only no kill shelter facility within Russell County, Alabama. EAHS strives to rescue animals that would otherwise be euthanize. Among its activities are a volunteer program, a foster-pet program, and a program for feral cats.
