Diamonds-In-The-Ruff Pound Pups Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization that began in October 2012. The Diamonds in the Ruff mission is: 1. To rescue and help stray, abandoned, injured and neglected dogs throughout Obion County in NW TN. 2. To provide the care needed to bring any sick or injured dogs back to their best health possible. 3. To provide as many adoption options as possible for the homeless dogs of Obion County through use of nationwide adoption sites and networking with rescues and transports in other areas and states. 4. To work with the community to recruit committed volunteers and fosters for the animals. 5. To provide safe comfortable housing and good care for the county's homeless animals after their rescue and before going to a new home. 6. To publicize lost and found dogs in an attempt to reunite lost dogs with their owners.
