Companion Connection is a non profit organization with IRS 501c3 status. We are dedicated to improving the lives of abused, abandoned or neglected dogs and cats in Alexander, Arkansas and surrounding areas. We do not take in owner-released animals, but focus on helping unclaimed animals and reducing the pet overpopulation number through our relocation program and numerous spay/neuter programs. We are an Alexander based rescue group made up of volunteers that strives to help reduce the number of loving companion animals that die each day in local shelters due to lack of space and lack of a suitable home. Currently, there is a large sanctuary for cats that has protected outside access for our feline friends. Because of the limited space, we cannot take in every animal that comes our way, but we do everything we can to get the animal off the streets and into a shelter (if not our own) or foster care. We strive to improve the lives of abused, abandoned and neglected companion animals. Companion Connection promotes spay and neuter programs as well as the Trap-Neuter-Return program as the only humane method of effectively reducing the feral cat population.
