Companion Animal Placement, Inc., is a nonprofit rescue organization based out of Hudson County, NJ. CAP was founded in 1989, and since then, has placed hundreds of animals with their forever families. Our animals come from abusive homes and the street, have been abandoned, or have been rescued from shelters to escape euthanization. CAP also provides Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) services for feral cats, which greatly curbs the stray cat population. Our organization is run solely by volunteers, monetary and supply donations, and the assistance of local vet clinics.
