Colorado Peke And Pom Rescue Inc - Morrison Pet Shelter

Colorado Peke and Pom Rescue, Inc. (CPPR) was formed in March of 2007 in Morrison, Colorado for the purpose of rescuing and rehoming Pekingese and Pomeranian dogs. At the time of its formation, there was no Pekingese or Pomeranian rescue in Colorado or surrounding states leaving Pekes and Poms found in shelters an uncertain and often poor fate. Its secondary goal is to educate and inform the public about the reality of puppy mills and importance of spaying and neutering. CPPR wants the public to "think" rescue first. CPPR received its public charity status as a 501 (c)(3) in August of 2007.
