ARF of Mercer is an animal rescue farm that is located in Pennington, NJ. This rescue was founded in 2013 and is run by two local women and a handful of volunteers. All the animals that are up for adoption have been lovingly cared for by foster families. Upon arrival to the Mercer County area, a qualified veterinarian examines each animal to ensure its health and happiness. The dogs and cats have plenty of freedom and gain much loyalty and independence. On a daily basis, our foster animals interact with many other animals (including other dogs, cats, ducks, and guinea fowl), as well as people of all ages. This socialization matures our foster animals into well-adjusted pets. We continue to nurture each of our animal friends until he or she becomes ready to be welcomed into a permanent caring home. Maybe that home could be yours.
The Application is the first step in a process in the placement of a puppy into your home as a new family member. Steps two and three respectively, will be a veterinary check (your veterinarian will be telephoned and asked about your previous record of treatment and care of your pets) and a home check, where a member or representative of our rescue will visit your home to ascertain the suitability of the living quarters for your puppy and to suggest any safety features that you may not be aware of in providing a safe and secure home for your new puppy.
