The Animal Adoption Center of Blount County is here to assist in serving the county’s needs in controlling stray, abandoned, and unwanted animals. Our goals are to unite animals, primarily but not limited to dogs and cats, with good caring homes. We promote spaying and neutering of companion animals to prevent overpopulation and try to educate county residents on responsible pet care. The shelter accepts animals from any resident of Blount County.
