4 Paws Sake, Inc. is a group of volunteer (we have no paid employees) dog lovers whose mission is to rescue, provide sanctuary, and ultimately to re-home abandoned, stray and neglected dogs. We also assist dogs who, because of extenuating circumstances, are unable to remain in their homes with their owners. All dogs are housed in foster homes where they are provided with an enormous amount of love and any medical attention that may be required to insure that they are in good health before adoption. They are all spayed/neutered and brought up-to-date on vaccines before being placed in their forever homes. They are evaluated for temperament and personality. This helps us to place them in homes that are well-suited to their needs and to the needs of their future owners. 4 Paws Sake, Inc. is a non-profit, 501c3 organization.
Our adoption fee is $175 and includes up to date, age appropriate vaccinations and up to date heart worm preventative. All 4PS dogs have been spayed or neutered. Our fee also includes a free wellness exam at Sylvania Vet Clinic. Dogs over seven years of age may qualify for the $50 senior dog discount. We are located in the Toledo, Ohio area. We adopt within a two hour radius and generally do not make exceptions. Fenced in yards are required for our dogs unless otherwise noted. Fences must be in place at the time of adoption. Electronic fencing systems are reviewed on a case by case basis. We do not have a shelter or facility in which we house our dogs. Our dogs are kept in loving foster homes throughout northwestern Ohio and southeastern Michigan. Should you be interested in meeting one of our dogs, you must first submit a completed application.
