OUR MISSION STATEMENT: It is with this Rescue's intention to foster, rehabilitate, re-home, as many displaced German shepherds from an animal shelter environment or from an owner surrender agreement. After complete vetting, obedience training we then take time matching and placing as companion pets or placing as a working Service K9s, Police, Search and Rescue or Emotional Support. In addition to educating the public in understanding the nobility, intelligence, and loyalty that is unique to this breed.

Adoption Process

In order to adopt from K9 Services German Shepherd Rescue, we would need you to complete an online application but preferably complete an application once you have your heart set on a particular German Shepherd you would like to meet. We post all our new intakes on our FB Page once they are Ready for Adoption we will post their Adoption Bio on our Adoptable Dogs Page. Please Read Adoption Bio or Follow us on FB. Out of State Adopters: We can only facilitate an Out of State Adoption if we have a Representative in your State and we do Require all Meet and Greets/Day of Adoption to be facilitated at our Main Rescue Location once Application is fully Approved. Our Location is in Green Cove Springs, Florida. Adoption donations range from $100 - $450. Adult German Shepherds ages between 1-5 Donations are normally set at $300, Donations for Puppies are usually between $350-$400. Depending on Age, Temperament and if proof of Bloodlines can be provided. ($350-$500 Donation) for Obedience Trained, Evaluated and introducing scent tracking for potential working K9s. Donations for Senior Shepherds are normally $100-$250. Mixed Breed Dogs $100-$300 Depending upon Age, and Personality, Training, Behavior Rehabilitation implemented. All dogs are spayed, neutered, vetted, microchipped, temperament and behavioral tested in addition to being worked with everyday with obedience training, or scent work. Scent work is dependent upon the particular dog we have in Rescue. The donations help us with the debts that are always incurred through vetting, medical expense, and overall care costs. We take Pride in our German Shepherd Rescue for taking the time to train and rehabilitate each German Shepherd based on their own specific behavioral needs.
