Fawn's Small Dog Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Florida. Our rescue was established in memory of a little red miniature pincher named Fawn. She was rescued from a puppy mill and shivered her way into our lives and hearts. She was a true inspiration to all that knew her. She sadly lost her battle with diabetes at the age of 12. We are dedicated to saving the lives of dogs in over crowded kill shelters. We rescue and improve the quality of life for stray, abused and forgotten dogs in Florida. Our rescued dogs are placed with caring foster families until we find them a qualified permanent loving home. All dogs receive complete veterinary care, socialization, compassion, guidance, nourishment and rehabilitation while they are in Fawn's Foster Program. We believe every dogs broken spirit can be mended. All dogs are spay/neutered before being placed in permanent homes. They are current on rabies, boosters, bordetella, heartworm tested, dewormed and micro chipped. All dogs receive monthly heartworm and flea prevention. We also hope to help educate the public on spay/neutering, pet overpopulation and proper animal care.
If you see one of our homeless dogs that you are interested in adopting please fill out our adoption application. (must be 21 years of age or older). A veterinarian and reference check will be done also a home visit will be scheduled. If the dogs you currently own are not properly vaccinated, spay or neutered, we will decline your application. Secure fenced yard is not a invisible fence and will not be considered if a dog requires a fenced yard for his/her safety. Invisible fences do NOT contain a dog running in fear or keep stray uncontained animals from entering your property to possibly do harm. We try to choose the family and home that we feel is best based on the different needs of each dog. We offer a week trial period after the dog is adopted to ensure that you have found your perfect new family member. We have a 7 day refund policy & a lifetime return policy. Adoption donation fees: $175.00 to $350.00. Fees are based on each dogs age, needs and medical expenses paid out while in our care. ALL adoption donation fees go to our rescued dogs veterinary care and their needs. A adoption contract must be signed by the adopter before the dog can be placed into his/her new home.
